We offer two tiers of building inspection services to suit different requirements and budgets.

Domestic & Small Commercial Inspections

Ideal for homeowners, landlords and estate agents needing straightforward roof and building assessments. These inspections provide clear, high-resolution photography and video footage of roofs, chimneys, guttering, facades and other structural elements that are difficult or dangerous to access.

Large & Survey-Grade Inspections

We deliver comprehensive photographic data surveys using photogrammetry to create orthomosaics, 2D maps and 3D models of buildings and land. These are suited to surveyors, construction professionals, developers and commercial property owners requiring detailed, measurable data for planning, maintenance or compliance purposes.

What Structures Do We Inspect?

We conduct aerial inspections across a wide range of property types including residential homes, commercial buildings, listed buildings, churches, agricultural structures and construction sites. Our experience with listed buildings and working at height makes us particularly well-suited to heritage properties and sensitive structures where traditional access methods may cause damage or disruption.

Our central West Sussex location allows us to respond quickly to inspection requests across the South East and surrounding counties.

What You’ll Receive

Following your inspection, you’ll receive high-resolution photographs and video footage documenting the condition of your building. Images can be viewed conveniently from your desk or home at any time.

For survey-grade inspections, we provide orthomosaic maps, 2D mapping data and 3D photogrammetry models that offer detailed, measurable representations of your property. These outputs are suitable for technical analysis, planning applications and detailed assessments.

All imagery and data is delivered digitally for easy access and sharing with contractors, surveyors or other professionals.

Our Qualifications and Compliance

Thames Valley Drones operates in full compliance with UK Civil Aviation Authority regulations. We hold full GVC PDRA-01 level qualifications, CAA Operational Authorisation and a night flight rating. For construction site work, we also carry CITB CSCS HS&E accreditation.

We maintain comprehensive insurance and conduct all operations in accordance with current aviation regulations, ensuring safe, legal and professional service delivery.
